Russias future challenges in the 21st century

Abstract

The place that Russia will have in the global community in this century depends on how adequately and speedily it reacts to global challenges. The following actions are first priority: to move over to the post-industrial stage of development by strengthening the innovational component in production and management; to abandon the rent approach to economy, which hampers all reasonable innovations and is a constant source of corruption.
