Abstract
The author studies the level of food supply in a state as one of the crucial factors of economic security formation and the latter's relation to the degree of employment of the agricultural potential and the development of resource opportunities in the regions, providing suggestions concerning the assessment of the development of various types of agricultural activity in the regions and identification of prospects for further development.
