Features and prospects of development of housing and communal services of the Republic of Sakha(Yakutiya)

Abstract

Occupying the largest volume and one of the leading places in the economy of the social sphere, the system of housing and communal services often does not meet the needs and expectations of the people. We are speaking about the wear of equipment, lack of financing, legislative imperfections, etc. The article describes the features of the economic mechanism of HCSenterprises, and underestimation of which is connected with the common in Russia position of «market fundamentalism», according to which market principles are common to all industries, including utilities. According to the author, the problems overhaul of public infrastructure cannot be solved without the direct involvement of the state.
