Cross-disciplinary synthesis of knowledge as a solution to complex modern issues

Abstract

The article presents the findings of the methodological seminar Cross-Disciplinary Synthesis of Knowledge as a Source of Power and leadership for Global and Local "Assembly Points": Challenges to Science and Education. The seminar’s participants focused on increasing the level of social responsibility and ecological efficiency of science and education, on searching for the new directions of their development with the help of approaches devised in the methodology of cross-disciplinary analysis and synthesis.
