Corruption Factors in Domestic Education

Abstract

This article explores the issues related to corruption in the Russian education system. It is noted that corruption is detrimental to both to the state and the society as well as to private individuals. The bribery issues of the Uniform State Examination at the school level are considered in particular. Corruption issues in the system of the higher professional and postgraduate education and in publishing of educational literature and manuals are also reviewed. The author draws a conclusion that the level of corruption in the Russian educational system has approached critical levels.
