Demand for state support programs of family farms

Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze the relevance and effectiveness of government programs for the development of agriculture, based on statistical data, opinion polls conducted by the Center for Family and Demography of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in the municipal areas. It reflects the ratio of federal and republican support for the development of family farms. There is a presentation of forecasts of experts about the prospects of farming, expressed by the heads of rural settlements in the municipal districts of Tatarstan. Designating the deterrent trends and constraint of planned sustainable development of rural areas - the lack of willingness of the population to engage in agriculture. The most significant form of aid, according to the heads of rural settlements, needed by the people to interest themselves in the conduct of agricultural production at their private households, have already appeared in grants by the State. However, the social reality of peasant farms is the lack of sufficiently reasonable terms of subsidies necessary in the normal marketing of products, generating appropriate prices that allow private growers to feel worthy participant in active employment.
