The gender distribution in the civil service system

Abstract

The comparative analysis of the representation of men and women in the civil service is presented in the article. The democratization of the modern society has created the prerequisites for the empowerment and participation of women in the political life of the country. In recent years the number of the female civil servants in the senior positions has increased. The motivational differences of employment in the state bodies of men and women and the challenges that women face if they want to make a career in the civil service are discussed by the author.
