Factors of competitiveness in the context of globalization

Abstract

The article is devoted to uncovering the role of soft and hard factors in competitiveness shaping of the Russian regions in the context of globalization. It is shown that at present the competitive advantages of the region are increasingly based on factors such as the conditions for research and innovation activities, the organization of higher education, training of scientific personnel, the development of communications, the state of logistics and development of intellectual capital.
