The review gives an assessment to the new monograph of Professor S. Kravchenko who is first among Russian sociologists to research the problems of time vector in the dialectics of the humanistic development of the modern society and determine the specifics of these processes in our modern reality.

The analysis of the problems that the world community and our country faced during the creation and functioning of a social welfare state are considered in the article. The impact of such factors for the realization of the values of the social welfare state as government public image, public confidence to authorities, social responsible business, sustained economic growth, social equity, solidarity and partnership are studied by the author.
