If the fight against corruption is to be successful, reliable mechanisms should be created to verify compliance with the public service code of practice and anticorruption standards should be introduced. These will allow to prevent and resolve conflicts of interest. Corresponding amendments to the Law on Public Service as well as measures aimed to eliminate indirect vested interest of public officials are in preparation.
