Current trends of urban development, such as formation of agglomerations, as well as strengthening the unification and transformation to the cities-entrepreneurs are investigated. The author analyzes the experience of European countries and Russia on the use of crowd sourcing, and places special emphasis on the environmental component of the evolution of cities.
