In our modern era, the maintenance of internal security appears to be one of the fundamental national objectives. As a consequence, it is important to develop a theoretical framework in analyzing the appropriate military and economic demands relating to the interior ministry armed forces (MVD) of Russia (as an element of the whole system of military and economic demands of the national military structure). The article defines the military and economic demands of the interior ministry armed forces (MVD) of Russia and describes their characteristics and its role in the military structure and the economic demands of national military institutions in the modern era.
