Air-defense aspect of Russian geopolitics in the World ocean

Abstract

the main idea of geopolitics is competition for control and power over territories including the World Ocean in all its spaces. Russia is the owner of huge mineral, hydrocarbon, biological and other resources located in three oceans and 13 seas washing about 39 thousand km of its territorial borders. To implement their geopolitics in the World Ocean the main marine world powers increasingly use power methods based on air attack s applying. Existing air threat over marine and ocean areas can be neutralized by the Russian fleet air defense, in which there are some significant theoretical and practical inconsistencies that need solution.
