Development of indicators for municipal entities

Abstract

Successful development of any socioeconomic system is impossible without a valid criterion framework. Most often used (in 150 countries of the world) are the indicators are that were developed in the framework of the UN-Habitat sustainable urban development programme. The article describes the practical experience of implementing these indicators in a number of Russian regions.
