Abstract
The article analyzes the feasibility of legislative authorization of lobbying in Russia. The author reveals the social functions of lobbyism and shows its role in enhancing the competitiveness of nations in a globalizing world, substantiating the need for legalization of lobbying and proposing a conceptual framework for legal regulation of lobbying in Russia.
