Legal Regulation of Local Government

Abstract

The author substantiates the role of local government in the decentralization of public authority in Russia. Special focus is given to the necessity to take into account the common principles of local government as well as the peculiarities of their implementation on particular territories, namely those with traditional nature management, single industry towns, Cossack government territories etc.
