Abstract

The author examines key trends in the impact of multinational corporations (MNCs) on world economy as a whole and the national state in particular, the issue of national sovereignty and growth of financial flows generated by MNCs. He enumerates the risks that are being faced by the companies themselves as 'locomotives' of the global economy.
