Abstract

The author reviews key provisions and hypotheses of Professor L. Kononov's monograph Foundations of Nuclear Geopolitics: Emergence of a Research Area as one of the first fundamental works on the emergence of a new research area, nuclear geopolitics. Its main objectives are a comprehensive study of nuclear sphere processes, dangers and threats they pose to the international community, and the development of research based recommendations for their implementation.
