The concept of safety in rail transport

Abstract

The article deals with the conditions of safety on the railways, analyzed the ratio of indicators of occupational injuries with European data. The author suggests the concept of safety, which includes the forms and means of avoiding collective and individual risk of occupational diseases and injuries. The developed approach and the tools allow for the improvement of OSH management system that will reduce the risk of occupational injuries and diseases on the railways.
