Development of the payment system of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The issues relating to the prospects of the development of the national payment system in terms of anti-Russian sanctions are considered in the article. The current payment system is analyzed by the author. The analysis shows that although the system performs the assigned functions, it needs to be improved. Banking electronic payment system is in demand by large credit institutions for liquidity regulation and by the Federal Treasury for income redistribution between different levels of the budget system. The ways for its further improvement are suggested in the article, reasoned conclusions and suggestions that can be used in practice and also be a material for further research in this area are made.
