Strategic priorities of the border cooperation of the Primorsky Territory

Abstract

The priorities of the border cooperation of the Primorsky Territory are considered in the article. The author stresses that the social and economic development management of the border region is closely connected with the issues of the effective organization of the international economic cooperation with the adjacent states. The development problems of the border interaction in the Far East and in the Primorsky Territory are analyzed. The importance of the formation of the region image for the growth of the efficiency of the frontier economic cooperation is shown. The great value of the accelerated development of the Primorsky Territory in the nearest future as the strategic subject of the Russian Federation directly adjoining to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region is considered. The main strategic directions of the use of the potentials of the border position of Primorsky Territory for the development of the cooperation with the adjacent states are formulated.
