Abstract

The cultural and historical heritage of the Republic of Khakassia, the forms of its inclusion into the modern context, the attention of the region to its research and popularization are discussed with the Head of the Republic of Khakassia Viktor Zimin in the interview to the journal «Public administration». The question of hosting in Khakassia the International forum «Historico-cultural heritage as a source of socio-cultural development» is mentioned. Interest to the historical and cultural heritage has always been great but this resource has recently considered as the most important part of the territory branding.
