Abstract

The review assesses published under the editorship of D.M. Rogozin's book «Russian official: a sociological life-world analysis of state and municipal employees». The book presents the results of the study of professional ethics, values and standards of state and municipal employees. On the basis of more than 150 narrative biographical interviews with representatives of different levels of government their worldview and values are analysed. The book may be of interest to members of the federal and municipal governments, experts, researchers, post-graduate students, attendees and students, and for a wide range of readers interested in public service issues.
