Received: 15.03.2016 Published: 15.03.2016

Abstract

The author makes an attempt to examine the positive and negative aspects of the Israeli experience basing on the analysis of the development of the Israeli society using the multi-party principle. An analysis of a number of exaggerations and negative aspects of the Israeli politics occurring mainly due to a multi-party system of government is presented. The conclusion is made that today in most cases the presence of many small parties in Parliament is not a sign of democracy but rather an early sign of impending anarchy or a path to authoritarianism.
