Abstract
This study provides a statistical analysis of the foreign trade turnover between the Russian Federation and the countries that initiated the project: the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The study evaluates the export potential of trade between Russia and India, as well as trade between Russia and Iran, and identifies the product groups with the highest export potential. Additionally, the article analyzes the development of transportation infrastructure within the North-South transport corridor. This includes construction and reconstruction work on sections stretching from Russia to Iran and further to India. The author compiled summary tables that reflect the volumes of products with the highest export potential. These tables include actual export figures and unrealized potential. The research pays special attention to key barriers hindering the development of the North-South transport corridor, including infrastructure constraints.
