Peculiarities of the economy and labour market of the Kaliningrad region as an enclave are considered. An analysis is provided of the discrepancies between the regional education system and the actual demand for professionals in the region. The author identifies specific features of labour migration in the region and provides recommendations on the regulation of migration processes.
