The article describes the main trends that define the development vector of modern international law. The author analyzes the political, cultural and economic factors that determine changes in the international legal field, and examines common stereotypes and misconceptions that exist with regard to international law. In addition, it identifies the key issues of modern international legal paradigms, as well as identifying the main obstacles to the progressive development of international law.
