Society today faces a number of challenges associated with an increase in chaos. In addressing them there are participating specialists emanating from different methodological schools and with different ideological or religious orientation. One of the possible solutions is the systematic approach and its latest development, the chaos theory, which studies the nonlinear systems, which belongs to a society. For strategic decision-making in the context of globalization, this article articulates a further proposal as one of the possible alternatives - the Kondratieff cycle theory, which, fits into the theory of chaos and allows authors to analyze specific events in the past 50 years and to predict the possible risks of future development.
