The peculiarities of the agricultural cooperation development in the Lipetsk region are considered in the article. Tools for the development of the economic and financial support of the agricultural cooperation to improve regional authorities' activities are proposed. These tools will contribute to the creation of a wide, multi-layered and sustainable network of cooperatives in rural areas. In addition, the system of rural credit consumer cooperatives is to become an equal participant in the financial market in the future.
