Enforcement of legislation on freedom of conscience and religious associations

Abstract

The article analyzes the incompleteness of the constitutional provision prosecutorial system in the hierarchy of separated powers, stresses the importance of interaction between prosecutors of the Russian Federation with Council of Europe experts to discuss key issues of legal reform, defining the place and role of the prosecution in a transitional society, in protecting the rights and freedoms of human and citizen. The main causes of low organization of supervisory activities in the area of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of legislation on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations, suggested measures to improve the efficiency of the prosecutor's response to violations of the law in the sphere of relations between the state and religious associations.
