Abstract
The article analyzes the impact of the Quality Management System (QMS) of higher education in the real state of quality management in universities. The experience of the Northwestern Institute of RANEPA of the President of Russia in the field of quality assurance in higher education, the Institute presented its own brand, which is based on the concept of 5M (modernization, mobilization, motivation, mission, materialization).
