Abstract
The article deals with the questions connected with the development of the agro-industrial complex of the North-Caucasian federal region. The author of the article presents the comparative data on all the volume of production for 2011-2012, analyzes the reasons for hampering the development of the agro-industrial complex and offers some measures for the improvement of the socio- economic situation in the region.
