THE DIGITAL ERA OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

The article was prepared within the framework of the research work carried out by the laboratory of the civil service reform of Russia, RANEPA. The topical issues of the public administration and its transformation associated with the emergence of the concept of the electronic governance («e-governance») are described by the author. The authors analyze one of the models - the model of the DEG (digital-era governance), highlighting its conceptual features, perspectives and disadvantages. The authors hope that the approaches proposed in the article, a holistic approach, in particular will help the relevant government bodies while carrying out administrative reform in the Russian Federation.
