Abstract
The Russian political science community is obviously in insufficient demand in the state political and social processes. An analysis of the situation shows that the reason lies in a number of factors, including administrative, subjective and resource limitations. The author demonstrates the possibilities of a political examination in the sphere of state and municipal management.
