Abstract
The article considers Millennium Development Goals adapted to Russian realities, noting their affinity to those outlined in policy documents of the Russian Government. Mechanisms and tools for the achievement of the assigned objectives are suggested. Priority objectives are set according to the typology of Russian regions – from the most affluent to the underdeveloped ones.
