Color Revolution" loses color and becomes gray

Abstract

The specificity of the form of the social protest, which is called "color revolution” is analyzed in the article. The protest in the transit community differs from both spontaneous revolt, and from classical revolution. It is the result of the extensive use of the political and communication technologies that focus the attention of the vulnerable or disadvantaged social groups on the most acute problems that are solved in the ways borrowed from the practices of other, usually developed countries.
