Abstract
The article focuses on the usage of AI technologies in the activities of Russian civil servants. The study explores key research areas in this field, emphasizes essential prerequisites for effectively integrating AI into the civil service, and identifies the challenges that may arise during this process. The authors found that insufficient digital literacy among civil servants and low trust in AI tools appear to be key obstacles. A survey of HR staff at government agencies revealed their experiences using AI at work and their opinions on the subject. The results obtained indicate the need to modernize the technical aspects and introduce new digital solutions, including artificial intelligence, in everyday practice. The authors emphasize the need to enhance the digital skills of state and municipal employees. The main task is to develop specialized educational programs and courses that focus on enhancing digital literacy, particularly in the area of AI.
