The leading business schools in Russia and in the world are looking for the ways of more active cooperation with the business community, while striving to preserve the fundamental nature of educational programs and strengthen their relationships with the pressing needs of the market, suggesting appropriate formats and programs. Business education today is designed not only to create professional outlook of the listener and give him the necessary tools to solve problems, but also to contribute to the development of leadership and emotional intelligence competencies critical for managers of any rank. Currently, the business education is the source and basis for training, including the country's political elite.

Nowadays the transition of companies operating in traditional industries into companies based on knowledge has entered an active phase. The human capital is a key element of the knowledge economy. The competitive advantages of the economy, the possibility of its modernization in modern conditions are directly determined by the human capital accumulated and involved in the country. Leadership becomes the most important characteristic of the human capital and the companies with global strategic vision for the development of its human resources invest in the development of this competence.

Understanding the cultural pattern of organizational behavior in international context allows managers to make decisions concerning the selection of employee motivation techniques. Researcher Geert Hofstede defined culture as "collective programming of the mind which distinguishes the members of one group from another”. Evaluation model of cross-cultural aspects of the workers' behavior gives managers the tools to define motivation and decision-making strategies. The process of motivation in multinational management team involves the positioning of employees in an international company not so much by its needs of transnational expansion, but in accordance with their interests, formation of supportive and trust-based organizational environment, informing of employees of organizational strategic intentions and of their own career prospects. This helps to activate employees' professional and communication skills, which is determined by the synergistic effect of cross-cultural interaction.
